Unpublished grant applications and manuscripts are treated as what they are: confidential research IP.
Tenant isolation by database policy
Every tenant-scoped table is protected by PostgreSQL Row-Level Security, enforced at the database layer — not just in application code.
Never used to train AI models
Your documents are sent to Google's Gemini models for inference only. Content is never added to any training corpus, ours or the provider's.
Google Cloud infrastructure
Hosted on Google Cloud Run with sandboxed execution, TLS in transit, AES-256 encryption at rest, and daily backups with point-in-time recovery.
US-only at launch
Account creation and access are currently scoped to the United States, consistent with export-control and sanctions requirements.
You control your data
Documents, results, and reports belong to your tenant. Nothing is shared across institutions or labs.
Every review is disclosed as AI-assisted
Reports are clearly marked as AI-generated feedback, meant to be verified — never submitted as-is.
Crucible is early in its formal compliance program. We are not yet SOC 2 or HECVAT certified, and our Terms, Privacy Policy, and Acceptable Use Policy are current drafts pending outside legal review.
